Sodium Bicarbonate (NaHCO₃) is a white, crystalline compound commonly used as a buffering agent in animal nutrition. It is a naturally occurring alkaline substance that helps regulate pH levels in the digestive system. In veterinary feed applications, sodium bicarbonate is widely used as a feed additive to improve digestive function and enhance animal performance.

As a buffering agent, sodium bicarbonate works by neutralizing excess gastric acid, maintaining a more stable pH in the digestive tract, and promoting healthy rumen function. It is available in powder form and commonly packed in 25kg bags.
